Synastry readings: turn compatibility themes into conversation
KnowMe editors · Published · Updated
A two-person reading places both people's birth details in a relationship context. KnowMe organizes themes through traditional chart frameworks. A reading cannot reveal another person's private thoughts or decide whether two people should be together.
Some prompts in the current birth-details form are in Chinese.
What do you need for a two-person reading?
Prepare both people's Gregorian birth dates, specific times, birth cities, chart-calculation details and names or nicknames, then select the relationship context. The current form requires complete birth times for both people. Some prompts are in Chinese.
Ask the other person's permission before using their birth details. A relationship type helps place the question in context; it does not disclose feelings the other person has not expressed.
How is synastry different from Sun-sign compatibility?
Sun-sign matching uses a limited part of each chart. Western synastry considers more chart information, while traditional BaZi relationship interpretation uses Four Pillars and a different framework.
More information does not make a relationship verdict certain. A compatibility label cannot replace actual communication, shared experience and boundaries.
Turn a theme into something you can discuss
If the text discusses different communication rhythms, ask: 'When we disagree, do we each need to talk immediately or take some space first?' If it discusses closeness, ask: 'Which specific actions make you feel valued?'
If the text discusses differences, ask how you both want to work with them. Answers come from what people say and do, not from a chart making the decision for them.
What can a relationship reading not answer?
A chart cannot confirm loyalty, love, how long a relationship will last, or whether to marry or separate. Even a resonant passage is not evidence of another person's intentions.
Pay attention to real behavior and available support when there is ongoing harm or a boundary problem. Do not use a chart explanation to excuse disrespect, control or harm.
Common questions
Can I enter an arbitrary time for the other person?
That is not recommended. The current form requires complete birth times for both people. An assumed time can change chart data and cannot support a certain relationship judgment.
Are these readings only for romantic partners?
The current form also includes friends, family and collaborators. Choose the actual context and obtain permission to use the other person's birth details.
Can it tell me what the other person is thinking?
No. It organizes themes within a traditional interpretation framework. Their actual thoughts need to be understood through communication, not treated as facts inferred from birth details.
Should I end a relationship because of an unfavorable reading?
Do not make that decision solely from a reading. Consider real experiences, each person's wishes, boundaries and specific behavior. Readings are for cultural entertainment and self-exploration.
